The Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group
The Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group is an open forum for IT executives to discuss and share experiences related to technology and business structure. The Group's mission is to provide an open forum, devoid of sales and marketing solicitations, for area executives with IT-decision-making responsibility to network and share their experiences.
The Group currently consists of approximately 60 members, all with operations located in the Greater Pittsburgh region. The list of charter members includes CIO’s from many of the greater Pittsburgh region's most recognizable companies, representing a variety of industries.
To be considered for membership, candidates must represent a company in the greater Pittsburgh region with gross sales of at least $50M. Representatives from divisions of national or international companies with a significant local presence are also eligible for membership. Prospective membership is limited to the individual who is the most senior person in charge of technology for the organizations, regardless of actual title (e.g., CIO, CTO, director of information systems, etc.).
