Minnotte Corporations is a recognized leader in the fields of metals manufacturing, boiler tube construction, metal casting, and machining, located in Pittsburgh, PA. Plus Consulting provided all the services for an enterprise wide implementation of J.D. EdwardsTM OneWorld Xe ®.
The scope of the project included the Distribution, Financial, and HR/Payroll modules. Due to the level of complexity found in their dealings with both union and non-union employees, custom functionality was developed to handle specific requirements in the areas of field time entry, and compensation management.
RESULT:
After two previously unsuccessful attempts to implement Oracle and J.D. Edwards OneWorld Xe, Minnotte contacted Plus Consulting in an attempt to get the overall implementation initiative pointed in the right direction. As a result of the team's efforts, Minnotte successfully went live on all modules in July 2001. Successful utilization of J.D. Edwards has drastically improved Minnotte's technology, and automated several iterative processes.
